Arthur Jones former NFL star and older brother of Jon and Chandler Jones has died at the age of 39 according to the Baltimore Ravens. The cause of death has not been revealed.
Arthur Jones played seven seasons in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens Indianapolis Colts and Washington. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft from Syracuse and became known for his strong defensive skills.
One of his career highlights was Super Bowl XLVII where he recorded a sack a fumble recovery and two tackles helping the Ravens win the championship against the San Francisco 49ers. Over his career he had 173 tackles 10 sacks and two forced fumbles.
The Ravens remembered Jones as a beloved teammate and friend. They said his big smile positive energy and love for everyone around him created happiness for those who knew him.
Arthur was the eldest of the three athletic brothers. Chandler Jones spent 11 seasons in the NFL and Jon Jones is one of the greatest UFC fighters in history. Arthur often supported his brothers including attending Jon Jones fights.
