Delhi Police have booked self styled godman Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati after seventeen students accused him of sexual harassment. The Delhi Godman Molestation case has shocked the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management community as students demand strict action. A red luxury car with a fake UN number plate was also seized during the investigation. The accused remains absconding despite raids and surveillance operations.
The case began on August 4 when a complaint was filed at the Vasant Kunj North police station. Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati also known as Partha Sarathy was accused of harassing female students pursuing postgraduate management courses under the EWS scholarship scheme. Investigators reported that the accused misused his influence at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management to target young women.
Fake Plate and Harassment
During the probe police found a red Volvo car in the basement of the institute with a fabricated diplomatic plate reading 39 UN 1. Officials confirmed that the accused himself arranged the fake plate. A separate FIR was registered on August 25 and the vehicle was seized. Statements from thirty two students were recorded during the inquiry. Seventeen victims stated that the accused sent lewd messages used abusive language and made unwanted physical contact. Some students also claimed that certain staff members pressured them to remain silent about the harassment.

Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati was expelled over the Delhi Godman Molestation case. Police are conducting raids after his last location near Agra.
