Samsung Unveils Robot Vacuum That Cleans and Watches Over Your Home
Samsung has introduced its latest smart cleaning solution, the Bespoke AI Jet Bot Steam Ultra, a robot vacuum that combines powerful cleaning with built-in home monitoring capabilities. The new model was announced ahead of the IFA 2025 expo and positions itself as both a housekeeping and security device.
This advanced vacuum uses steam for deep sanitization while navigating effortlessly through rooms, thanks in part to AI object recognition. It is also equipped with a built-in security camera that holds the highest ‘Diamond’ safety rating from Underwriters Laboratories, enabling it to record footage and monitor your home remotely via the SmartThings app.
Security for user data has been prioritized, with the device being integrated into Samsung’s Knox security ecosystem. Sensitive information, such as passwords, is protected through hardware-based solutions like Knox Vault and the Knox Matrix Trust Chain.
Priced above the existing $1,699 Bespoke AI Jet Bot Combo, the Steam Ultra’s final pricing is yet to be confirmed—but it’s expected to debut soon at IFA 2025 in Berlin, where live demos and further product details will be showcased.
