ShahidKapoorHafizabad link surfaces after veteran actor Pankaj Kapur shared that his family originally belonged to Hafizabad in Pakistan.
Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor is known for his powerful acting and hit films like Haider Udta Punjab Jab We Met Padmaavat and Kabir Singh. Recently his father and legendary actor Pankaj Kapur appeared on The Lallantop Show where he revealed that the Kapoor family has ancestral roots in Hafizabad Pakistan.
Pankaj Kapur shared that their grandfather had a transferable job and the family often moved from one place to another. However he said they were told that the family originally belonged to Hafizabad where the Kapoor family once lived together as a joint family. He added that his father was a great writer and a popular speaker at FC College Lahore before the partition.
Pankaj Kapur also explained that their family did not face displacement during the partition as they were already settled in India. He expressed deep respect for his roots and said that their history reflects the cultural link between India and Pakistan. The revelation offered fans a rare glimpse into Shahid Kapoor’s background and his family’s connection with Pakistan.
