Prime Video has officially announced The Summer I Turned Pretty movie which will serve as the final chapter of Belly Conklin’s journey. The news came just one day after the Season 3 finale aired leaving fans eager to see how the story concludes.
After the emotional Season 3 finale Prime Video confirmed that The Summer I Turned Pretty movie is in development. Author and show creator Jenny Han will return to write and direct making sure the adaptation stays true to her bestselling trilogy.

The cast Lola Tung as Belly Christopher Briney as Conrad and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah appeared on TODAY with Han to talk about the project. Tung said she could not share details yet while Briney admitted he always felt his character would end up with Belly.
